Choosing the right oil
Optimal Lubricant for your ZF Transmission
ZF lubricants are a crucial component of all ZF transmissions and axles. We recommend changing oils at regular intervals to ensure optimal performance and long service life for your ZF unit. Thanks to the ZF List of Lubricants, you will always find the right oil and right interval for your application.
When filling ZF transmissions, only those oils specified in the applicable ZF List of Lubricants (TE-ML) are authorized. We recommend that you use ZF EcoFluids.

Truck and bus transmissions are subject to high loads. Therefore, clean oil is a basic pre requisite for optimum performance and low wear. ZF hydraulic oil filters ensure the smooth running of vehicles throughout the whole service interval, even under extreme conditions.
The specially designed pleat geometry of the long-life filter medium produced using the latest materials ensures alow flow resistance while maintaining an excellent filter effect.
