Step into the future of workshop efficiency with the ZF Scan – the new diagnostic solution for all ZF Group components and systems.

ZF will migrate all legacy diagnostic licences to ZF Scan, including all WABCO System Diagnostics SD 1.0. The first licences to be migrated will be WABCO Trailer, Truck and Bus, followed by ZF Testman and Toolbox+ solutions. ZF Scan will be available via the powerful ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite.

Take advantage and upgrade to ZF Scan as soon as you receive an invitation via email.

How to register:

invitation

You got an invitation email by the administrator of the ZF [pro]Diagnostics organization. Click the "Create Account" button to start the registration process.

Confirm your first name, last name, select preferred language and click the ‘Continue’ button.

password

You have to set your password, which will be used for logging into the ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite Admin Portal and the ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite Desktop.

After the password is set, a confirmation dialog is displayed with a link redirecting you to the ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite Admin Portal login.

You need to log into the ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite Admin Portal using the registered email address and the password set during the registration process.

How to configure:

software download

In the ZF [pro]Diagnostic Admin portal, go to the ‘Download’ section, where you can download the ZF [pro]Diagnostic Suite desktop application.

installation

You have to complete the installation process of the ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite Desktop application using the downloaded installer file. It is a regular Windows installation where you need to follow the instructions provided by the installer.

Note: Administrator rights are necessary.

login

You have to log into the ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite Desktop application using the email and password defined earlier during the registration process.

Note: If you do not log out before closing the application, login is not required until the defined period expires.

consent

You have to authorize the communication between the ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite desktop application and the cloud solution.

license selection

You have to select one of the available licenses during the initial login into the ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite Desktop application. This license is then bound to you and your hardware.

Note: The license can be released in the License section of the ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite Desktop.

vci configuration

Before starting any diagnostic activity, you need to configure the proper VCI for communication.

Note: Currently, Diagnostic Interface II and ZF DCI are supported.

The first invitation into ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite will be sent from SCALAR.

Vehicle history is a feature which stores information about all Diagnostics sessions for specific vehicle. Vehicle history is stored locally and when the internet connection is available, it is uploaded to the cloud.

Yes, PIN 1 and PIN 2 are still valid.

Yes. Any purchased subscription package will work for up to 15 days offline. After this time, cloud validity and update verification must be performed. Some functions will be limited in offline mode, E.g. Vehicle history.

Currently, there is no auto-log out function. The user can log out with closing the application.

A customer must have an email address because we send all users an invitation per email to use the ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite.

Legacy mechanism is still available in SD 1.0 application
