General Information
ZF Scan unifies WABCO and Testman diagnostics into a single, modern tool - fully compliant with EU regulations. It offers advanced features like vehicle scan, remote software and firmware updates, and a vehicle health report.
You can purchase your license through our Customer Center. The software is compatible with DI2 (WABCO Diagnostics) and DPA06 (Testman Diagnostics) hardware. If you're interested in purchasing new hardware, please visit the Customer Center for more information. To make a purchase, contact your local distributor.
There is no need to replace the hardware. The software license will be transferred to the ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite under the current conditions - the license type and validity will be transferred on a 1:1 basis.
ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite is the new diagnostic application. ZF DCI is the new diagnostic hardware interface.
ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite is compatible with DPA 06 and DI 2 hardware.
The price for equivalent software licenses will remain unchanged at launch. For details regarding hardware pricing, please contact your local distributor.

- Full WABCO Scan: Support of tall WABCO systems.
- Toolbox ZF Scan: Support of selected WABCO systems in North America.
- Expert ZF Scan*: Support of ZF systems with advanced diagnostics functionalities. Comparable to former Testman Service Edition.
- Specialist Truck ZF Scan*: Support of ZF systems with core and extended truck diagnostics functionalities.
- Core ZF Scan: Support of ZF systems with core diagnostics functionalities. Comparable to former Testman IAM Edition.

To purchase a subscription, log in with your account or create a new one.
Yes, your remaining subscription period will be transferred to ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite without any loss. ZF [pro]Diagnostics is being gradually rolled out worldwide, and once your country is included, you will be notified by email and receive an invitation to ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite.
Licenses can be assigned to a device during the initial account setup. You can later manage them in the “Licences” section in ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite.
After successful payment, you will receive an invitation email to ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite. Follow the instructions in the email to create your account and activate your license.
Licenses are linked to a device. A single license can be used by multiple technicians on a shared device.
- Administrator – Can invite new users.
- Workshop Manager – Can invite users and view all past repair sessions.
- Workshop Technician – Can use all diagnostic functionalities.
Log in to the WABCO Customer Center. Under the ZF [pro]Diagnostics widget, you can view and manage all purchased subscriptions, including their type and validity.
Yes, open your user details in the Admin Portal. Use the function “Transfer Ownership”.
Compatibility & Coverage
Yes, all previously installed SD applications remain visible and usable in ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite.
No, legacy SD applications function normally in ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite. But for getting new SD updates, the newly wrapped applications must be updated through ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite.
The previously installed SD application stays installed on your computer, but only the new version is visible in ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite.
If you uninstall the new version of SD application, the original SD application becomes visible again.
No, the list of SD applications within the Suite is growing, but some older ECUs still require the use of the previous WABCO SD.
No, WABCO SD applications are visible in ZF [pro]Diagnostics but do not work with ZF DCI. Only SD applications within the Suite are compatible.

Yes, registration is required. After registering, you can purchase a license.
Yes, the following requirements must be met:
- Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit) or higher
- Memory: Minimum 8GB RAM (16GB recommended)
- Storage: At least 20GB of free disk space (for 64-bit OS)
- Display: Minimum resolution of 1366x768 (Full HD 1920x1080 recommended for optimal use)
Yes, admin rights are required for the initial download and installation.
Depending on your organization’s IT security policies, admin rights may be required.
Yes. The first registered user in an organization is automatically assigned the Administrator role. To invite other users, go to the Admin Portal and select "Invite New Users".
Login to ZF [pro]Diagnostics Admin Portal (zfprodiagnostics.com). Download the installer file from “Downloads” section.
Your original login credentials are valid. During installation, assign a license to your new device.
Functionality & Features
Vehicle History stores all diagnostic sessions for all vehicles within an organization.
Vehicle Scan feature scans all available ECUs in the vehicle and lists all active and inactive errors. The System Access feature offers direct access to ECUs for detailed analysis, parametrization or flashing. The selected diagnostic software will start in a separate window.
Yes, but with limited functionality. Some features require an internet connection at least once every 7 days.
Yes, PIN and PIN 2 remain valid. Technicians must enter them in ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite to perform advanced operations.
No, users must log out manually by closing the application.
Please make sure you select the right language in the dropdown menu. Some diagnostics modules are in English or German only. If you choose a different language, certain modules might not appear.
User Support & Troubleshooting
A valid email address (personal or company email) is required, as all invitations to ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite are sent via email.
Use the "Forgot Password" feature. An internet connection is required for this process.
Users must update their own information. However, organizations can request updates through ZF Customer Support.
Language Support
It is possible that your language variant is not available in ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite. Please refer to section "Updates" in ZF [pro]Diagnostics Suite to see all available diagnostic modules in different languages. You can download any of them to your device.
Hardware
Yes, the new ZF DCI will include an adapter to fit the existing cabling.
This is the substitute to switches on the Testman DPA06. There is no purpose for WABCO diagnostics.
