WABCO retrofittable Turning Assistant System (TAS) targets to increase vision perception for drivers of heavy vehicles with built-in blind Spot Detection technology during turning and comprehensive passive lane change information over wide range of blind spot area on non-driver side.

The TAS increases vision perception for drivers of commercial vehicles with built-in Blind Spot Detection technology during turning and comprehensive Passive Lane Change information. Radar, camera, and alarm system detects potential collision zones and protects vulnerable road users when turning or changing lanes, and are functional for all fleet applications.
TAS includes:
