ZF OPENMATICS for off-highway

With ZF OPENMATICS, ZF is establishing a new telematics standard on the market that makes it possible to combine various applications in one platform.

In order to make being on the road or in the field even more cost-effective, resource-saving, on schedule and relaxed, an increasing number of users are taking advantage of supportive telematics services.

ZF OPENMATICS can exchange data with all relevant vehicle systems. It is therefore just as suited to online documentation in field mapping files as it is to fleet management and vehicle diagnostics.
ZF OPENMATICS is non-proprietary, i.e. third-party providers such as vehicle or component manufacturers or other application developers can offer their telematics services in the form of ZF OPENMATICS apps. Each app is tested and certified by ZF OPENMATICS before release. The ZF OPENMATICS system is simple: One on-board unit in the vehicle records the data for all required telematics applications.
Data conversion and storage occurs on outsourced servers and users can access their data via a web portal. The different telematics services are offered as modular software applications in the ZF OPENMATICS app store so that fleet managers or vehicle operators can freely choose and combine them according to their individual requirements.
