Safety in every situation

The movements of the steering wheel are transmitted via the steering gear, the steering rod and the steering levers to the stub axles and thus to the front wheels. Therefore, the axial rotation of the steering wheel affects the steering lever.

In many cases a lever equipped with a high quality bearing is used on the other end of the drag link: the idler arm.

Important note for repair and replacement: The tracking must be reset afterwards if the steering lever, the idler arm, or the entire steering linkage are touched.
