    Compared to volume production pressure plates, SACHS Performance pressure plates have a higher transmittable torque and are less sensitive to thrust loading. Depending on the requirements, they are used with different disks. Higher pedal forces might occur.

    Fields of application:

    • Chip tuning
    • Turbocharger and supercharger conversions
    • Vehicles with maximum payload and / or subject to high load (e.g. towing service, ambulances, snowplows, commercial vehicles, driving schools, and taxis)
    • ¼ mile races
    • Circular tracks such as endurance racing, club sports, autocross

    • Rally racing, slaloms, and drifting

    Compared to volume production clutches, torsion-dampened and rigid disks with organic facings feature higher-quality facings. The torsion damper has a higher stop position and serves as vibration damper between engine and transmission.

    Torsion-dampened and rigid sintered disks offer a higher thermal load capacity and a higher transmittable torque than disks with organic facing. They are very resistant to dirt and allow for an aggressive starting performance. Torsion-dampened clutch disks have a higher stop position and serve as vibration dampers between engine and transmission.

    • Circular tracks such as endurance racing, club sports, autocross
    • Hill climbs (e.g. Group N)
    • Rally racing, slaloms, and drifting

    SACHS Performance sintered disks

    Torsion-dampened and rigid sintered disks offer a higher thermal load capacity and a higher transmittable torque than disks with organic facing.     SACHS Performance PCS modules

    PCS modules are suitable for extremely high torques and designed for speeds of up to 12 000 rpm. By using rigid lightweight flywheels weight reduction up to 60% is possible.

    Fields of application (only for motorsports):

    • ¼ mile races
    • Circular tracks such as endurance racing, club sports, autocross
    • Rally racing, slaloms, and drifting

    Notes:

    • Trouble-free exchange to series
    • Available as organic or sintered PCS module
    • Due to reduction of mass and more rigid connection a stronger transfer of transmission noise can occur
